My loving mother gifted me with these two rocking denim pieces in congratulations of my employment at Intoxic boutique (after 18 years and 2 months of searching I have finally got my bottoms into the working/retail industry - that's one goal of the year I can cross of the list) Honestly, there's just something about the sapphire/dusty navy colour that I get the chills over when it comes to denim. Such a shame our Summer this year has been such a blur, let's pray for hotter weather for the beach and the babes.

mink pink global launch tea party

A few photos I snapped yesterday from MINK PINK's official global launch get together that myself and a few other babes were fortunately apart of - the tea, the treats, the atmosphere and the outfits everybody rocked up in was perfection. Thanks to the MINK PINK team for hosting, it was a really great morning to indulge into quirky rock and roll pieces, reminding me of everything MINK PINK is about! I absolutely love the old, current and new collections of both clothing and accessories - it's never a disappointment. We also got a sneak peak into the new headquarters of the label, incomplete but was such a hot mess, I thought nothing but goodness when we took a tour. Loved it, loved it.

If so, why, do skulls inspire you? ;o The human skull, holy, at first it was nothing but a piece of skeleton that forms and structures the face of every human being which honestly meant only that to me. However, once I saw rough and raw sketches done by a few artists and photographic artworks I’ve come across on tumblr, something just caught my attention. The way each skull was either presented and captured just became something I fancied. Nothing more, nothing less! Haha

I would like to call this post 'continuous' part 1, due to my grand disappearance I owe this to you guys. There is so much to photograph and publish, I get more than too excited to update you on it all. The daisy garland was something I put together for the festival Stereosonic that I attended in November, which was absolutely amazing, breath taking and mind blowing, also draw dropping, you name it! - Avicii, LMFAO, Armin Van Buuren... The ear cuff has recently been my favorite accessory, I'm not usually the one to spend any attention to my ears but ever since I discovered this little baby I changed my direction. And last but not least, two bat-winged dresses that I haven't yet got a chance to wear as much as I would like too - oddly enough I find myself wearing them tucked into denim shorts. Win-win.
